Data we collect
Data entered by the user:
- URL of the website to analyze
- Declared locale or market (optional)
Technical data:
- Hashed IP address, to apply usage limits and prevent abuse.
- Timestamp of the query.
Data we do NOT collect:
- We do not use first-party or third-party cookies.
- We do not store the IP address in plain text.
- We do not collect payment data.
- We do not require signup or user account.
Purpose of processing
- Execute the localization analysis requested by the user.
- Generate aggregated and anonymous usage statistics.
Legal basis
- Performance of a requested service (art. 6.1.b GDPR): when using Accent, the user requests an analysis. Processing the URL and technical data is necessary to provide the service.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR): to prevent abuse through rate-limiting by hashed IP and to generate aggregated statistics.
Retention period
- Data associated with each analysis is retained for a maximum of 12 months from the analysis date.
- Aggregated and anonymous statistics may be retained indefinitely.
Recipients and processors
Technical data may be communicated to the following third parties, exclusively for the stated purposes:
- Vercel Inc. — application hosting
- Supabase Inc. — database and storage
International transfers
Use of the services indicated may involve data transfers to the United States. These transfers are made under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
User rights
Users may exercise the following rights:
- Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of their personal data.

Right to complain
If you consider that the processing does not comply with regulations, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
